The Story Behind the Practice
Jo has spent her career learning how to care for people in the ways that matter most. Every chapter of her working life has added something to the practitioner she is today, an eye for fine detail, deep reserves of patience, and a genuine warmth that puts even the most anxious patient immediately at ease.
Jo began her working life in graphic design and advertising, before moving through sales and marketing, law, and eventually the Police. After leaving the force she moved into community care, visiting people in their own homes, and it was here that everything fell into place
She noticed that one of the most overlooked needs among the people she visited was proper foot care, and that a single good treatment could make a remarkable difference to someone’s comfort and confidence. That was her light bulb moment. Jo trained at the SMAE Institute in Maidenhead, qualified as an MCFHP MAFHP, and has been running her mobile foot health practice ever since.
Ten years on, she loves every minute of it.
Beyond the Treatment Room
Away from her patients, Jo is an artist, a beach lover, and devoted owner of two dogs, Ronnie and Archie, who share her enthusiasm for coastal walks and fresh sea air.
She returned to painting last year and attends a weekly art class in Farnham, combining her two great loves by heading to the coast for painting retreats and courses whenever she can.
The same precision and patience that makes Jo a wonderful artist makes her an exceptional foot health practitioner. She notices things others miss, takes her time, and cares deeply about the result.
