Terms & Conditions

(Effective from 2 May 2026)

1. Booking & Payment Terms

Foot Treatment -New Customers are required to make the Full payment as quoted at the time of booking to secure their place. Pre-Booked Payments are to be paid online via BACs to Jo’s account. 

2. Cancellations made

Cancellation must be made as early as possible no later than 24hrs prior to treatment.

Missed appointments will be charged in full. Loss of payment is at the discretion of Jo Gill.

New Customers Cancellations with notice will be rescheduled with payment carried over.

New Customers Cancellations after 24hrs payment will be lost. At the discretion of Jo Gill.
– If either party arrives late, the session will still end at the scheduled time (no extensions or partial refunds)

3. Working Area – Background music is preferred at all times but optional

Please secure the working area so it’s sufficient for the practitioner to work risk free.

Please provide the practitioner with sufficient lighting

Please provide the practitioner with a surface or small table within reach for placement of the equipment.

4. Paddings/Dressings/Medicants

Some paddings/dressings and medicants with be supplied alongside treatment. Anything not supplied will be discussed with the patient and charged accordingly.

5.Length of Treatment

The Practitioner allows for up to an hour for the treatment where necessary. Should the treatment need to be extended it will be discussed at the time and an additional £10 added.

6. Travelling to the Customer

Please provide the location of the treatment at the outset of the enquiry this allows for any additional petrol allowance to be discussed where and when necessary.

7. Environment -Pets/Smoking

Please advise the practitioner if there are any pets and what pets are in the property at time of booking. Any reactive pets need to be locked in another room whilst treatment is carried out.

There is be no smoking whilst the treatment is carried out. Vapes are ok.

8. Prior to treatment

Please wash or bath feet prior to the treatment appointment.

The practitioner will spray the feet with skin disinfectant prior to and at the end of treatment.

Clinell Universal disinfectant wipes will also be used to wipe the foot as sterile as possible, in the event the Customer does not have time to wash feet. This way the foot with be disinfected in the event of a cut or bleed whilst trimming the nails or removing hard skin, corn or verrucae.

9. Cuts bleeds

Whilst the practitioner will do their utmost not to make cuts or bleeds during treatment these things do happen. A sterile plaster will be fitted and instructions given not to remove for 3 days. This will protect the injury from infection.

10. Health & Responsibility

Your wellbeing matters. By booking, you confirm you’re physically and mentally fit to take part in treatment.
Please let me know in advance about any medical conditions, allergies, or mental health considerations that could affect your experience.

11. Liability

Jo Penny Foot Health holds full professional indemnity and public liability insurance for all home visit appointments. Whilst every care is taken during each visit, patients are requested to ensure that the treatment area is clear, safe, and accessible before Jo arrives. This includes removing any trip hazards and ensuring adequate lighting. Jo reserves the right to decline treatment if the working environment presents a risk to her safety.

12. Inappropriate Behaviour & Respect

If a customer, visitors or pets in the property behaviour disrupts the treatment or puts the practitioner at risk, the practitioner reserves the right to ask them to leave — or the practitioner leaves with no refund.

13. Acceptance to treatment

By booking and paying, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
